• Work for and promote the well-being of people with learning disabilities in Mid-Sussex, their families and their carers.

• Provide information to help people with learning disabilities, their families and carers.

•  

• Make links and work with other local Mencap societies and disability clubs and with National Mencap.

•  

• Work with people in Health, Education and Social Services to assist them in providing the best possible standards of care and support to those with a learning disability.

•  

• Influence people who have the power to make decisions that affect the lives of the learning disabled.

•  

• Actively raise funds to achieve these objectives.
